Public Education

Public Education ServicesThe Public Education program at Ability Connection Texas provides valuable educational services to families, caregivers and disability professionals who are responsible for taking care of (or overseeing the care of) a person with a disability. We also offer training and educational programs to the community in order to create a greater awareness of disabilities, to promote better care for people with disabilities, to teach about recognizing abuse, neglect or exploitation, and to foster more positive attitudes toward those with disabilities.

LOCATION

Sequoia Room

Training through our Public Education program takes place at ACT’s Greater DFW Service Center in The Sequoia Room. This large conference area can accommodate between 80 to 120 individuals. We also have a room divider so that two presentations or trainings can take place simultaneously. Our facility has state-of-the-art training and presentation materials that make learning fun and convenient for participants!
